Hi,
Let me explain you the scenario we are in and connection issue happened with JAZZ Server reboot
We have JTS Server installed on a separate server similarly RM,QM and CCM running on separate servers.
Server OS: Windows Server 2008 R2 backend running on SQL Server
After a patch upgrade on the JTS Server and after bouncing the server. When tried to connect from RM, QM we were getting the below error and warnings.
Finally after rebooting RRC followed by QM helped to fix the above issues. Still not sure what caused this issue.
Hence wanted to know if there is any sequence for Jazz Server Reboot.

As mentioned in patch readme:
d. Start the server. For a distributed CLM deployment, complete the same steps on each server. |
Hi Anoop, Stop the application with below sequence which I always followed and it worked. Stop: JTS,CCM,RQM and RM ( if its 5.0 releases). Start: JTS,CCM,RQM and RM ( if its 5.0 releases). Please do it for all the application if it incase of Disctributed setup. Note: Stop the Application server before stopping the database server. Regards, Arun.

thanks I will follow the same order when rebooting for the next time. |
On a 4.x environment, the JTS must be started last, because of the population of internal RM and QM licenses. This was a defect fixed in the foundation v5.0 or 5.0.1.
