Collaboration in CLM when using team areas

Hi there.
Team area setup does NOT seem to work in following situation: I am in RRC and I create a new RRC artifact. From this artifact I want to create a test case with relation "validated by". Doing so gives me a pop-up window to create a new test case in related RQM project area but due to permissions I am not able to save this test case. This is because I have only viewer rights in RQM project area, but test team member rights on team area level in that project area. There is not any field to specify team area when I create a test case from RRC, thus making it non-collaborative when using team areas.
The same situation occurs when creating a test case from a work item in RTC. Anybody, thoughts, help, workaround, solutions..? |

Hi Hivzo,
I'm testing in CLM 4.0.6 and didn't see any issue as you described. When I created a new test case from RRC or RTC, I could select a team area and save the test case.
Have you enabled team areas and support for multiple timelines in RQM project? You can enable the setting following https://jazz.net/help-dev/clm/index.jsp?re=1&topic=/com.ibm.rational.test.qm.doc/topics/t_enable_team.html&scope=null

Hi Lily. Maybe you have not noticed my response above as I commented in the wrong field. Here is my answer to you: "I have enabled team areas and support for multiple timelines in RQM. This seems like an issue only seen on v4.0.3. Can that be confirmed?
