Custom Reports in RQM

Can I add my own BIRT designed reports in RQM? What about custom viewlets?

You have to install the RTC Client, connect to the RQM repository and to the desired project area. Than right click -> open the project area, select the process configuration tab, and in the tree view the project area initialization entry.
In the project area initialization view add the new server follow-up action (only if not already added) Setup Project for Reports. Click on this new follow-up action and create/add new report templates.

In RTC 1.0, this is not possible.

We are trying to implement this functionality in RTC 2.0.
Please see the following work item:

I believe RQM will be inherit RTC 2.0 functionality.

I'm trying to connect the RTC 1.01 client to a RQM 2.0 beta repository and getting this issue...

Failed to log into 'localhost'
org.eclipse.emf.ecore.resource.Resource$IOWrappedException: Feature 'contextId' not found. (, 18, 18)

Am I doing something wrong or are client and server versions an issue?

Yes, the client and server versions should match.
It appears that Rational Team Concert 2.0 Beta 1 is required to connect to the repository.

Please refer to the following page for more details:

Adding custom BIRT reports in RQM is not supported. A custom report solution is coming in v2.0
