Filter by defect Id is disabled

Debasish Mahapatra (1246) | asked May 12 '14, 8:11 a.m.
We are using Clearquest to log defects. If we want to identify the failed Test cases associated with a particular defect Id, we can find these test cases by navigating to Execution > Test case Results. But currently 'Defects' filter is disabled. Hence I find it extremely difficlult to filter test cases by associated defect Id. Please let me know the procedure to enable the 'Defects' filter or any other way to filter test cases by defect Id. We do have the option to generate the out box report to identify test cases by defect Id but it is not a Live report. Please suggesst any other method.

Unfortunately, the only table view filter for CLM links (e.g. defects/requirements/etc.) is if the test resource(s) contains/does not contain a CLM link reference.  For more information, see Support additional table view /filters with LQE (89865).

Hi Paul,

Can you suggest an easy way to filter test cases by associated defects in RQM?

As mentioned, it's not supported.  For more information, see Support additional table view /filters with LQE (89865).
