custom Process Template with custom Testplan templates

RQM 4.0.1
In my company we use custom templates for TestPlan and TestCase. We do create hundreds of QM project areas (12k employee company) and we need to create each new project area according to our predefined custom process template and with our custom Testplan and testcase templates.

We are creating these new areas with custom process template but the process template area does not assign the custom testplan and testcase templates. We have been configuring the testplan and testcase template one by one in each new area using Poster on firefox to record the template xml file into the new area. This process is very awkward and counterproductive.

So far we have been lurking into the process template xmls. Is there a better way to just configure a custom process template wich contains custom artifacts templates that set up everything accordinly while creating the new area without such hassles?

This should covered by the templatization feature.  If you create a project area using your predefined custom process template and create the custom artifact templates in that project area, then export the project area to a new process template, the new process template will be your predefined custom process template including the custom artifact templates.  I found this related enhancement that is already resolved in 4.0.

Templatization feature should also capture test artifact templates (64562)
