Plan view work items in web vs Eclipse don't match - children filed against other teams not showing in Eclipse

1. Create a project
2. Create two teams and associate each with a different category.
3. Create a Product Backlog with some epics in it. Assign those epics to team 1 (Filed Against = the category associated with team 1).
4. Create several child stories. Assign some to Team 1 and some to Team 2, making sure they all have Epics assigned to Team 1 as parents.
5. Bring up the Backlog plan of Team 1 (the one containing the Epics) in both the web client and the eclipse client. Expand all.

They do not match! In the web client, you see all the work items you created. The children of the other team show in the backlog of the first team because the parents of those children are in the first team's backlog. The children show up grayed out, as expected. In Eclipse they don't show at all. This is NOT as expected.

Note that in Eclipse the "exclude" items are all unchecked. Also, "Always load execution items" is checked. Though we are not actually looking at execution items in this example, they have the same behavior. Tasks for team 2 don't show up under their Team 1 parents in Team 1's backlog in Eclipse when they do show up in the web (grayed out as before since their parents are in the plan being viewed but they themselves are not).

Is there some way to make the eclipse client show the children as expected like the web client does? Or is this a defect?

One interesting detail might be the version you use.
Another if you run both teams against the same timeline. e.g. if Team 2 is on its own timeline, children should not on a plan looking on Team 1's timeline. It is, unfortunately, designed that way. See https://jazz.net/library/article/589 for some other things yuo should take into consideration.

Having said that, if it is the same plan view, both should show the same work items and I am puzzled why they don't. The Web is now the leading planning UI, so maybe this is a defect or regression.

4.0.4 - including in Eclipse, so it's not a version mismatch. We only have one timeline, so it's not that either. There is no logical reason for the same plan appearing with different work items in the two clients.
