MIME Type and Delimeters for mass checkin

Hello,

We have a lot of code that we are exporting from our current repository and bringing into RTC. Most of the code was developed on Windows but we are using a Linux box to do the migration. When we run the scm share commands to bring in the code all of the .java files are set to mime type application/unknown...

I haven't been able to find anything on where I set the mime types? Project setting, scm config file?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

This isn't a problem you can change the file properties at any time. Click on the project in the RTC client and run the "Team > Change File Properties" action. Here you can bulk update the properties or each file type and set the preferred line delimiter. On the second page of the wizard you can save these settings so that next time they are used when new files are shared.

Thanks, I was hoping there was a solution that wouldn't involve manual steps as we have a lot of projects that we are migrating.

If you are migration from CVS, SVN, or CC, then the importers/connectors should of been setting these properties.

I'm exportng (and re-organizing) from a CMVC extract so no such luck.

I do find it kind of strange that there is no command line way of setting this.

I assumed this could be influenced through Preferences-> Team -> Jazz Source Control -> File Properties (Text tree).

Right, those settings influence files that are checked in via the Eclipse client but not the scm command line client.

I assumed this could be influenced through Preferences-> Team -> Jazz Source Control -> File Properties (Text tree).
