License report shows peak of 277 when Max available is 250

Dudley Thomas (41614) | asked Nov 04 '13, 12:13 p.m.
Maybe I am interpreting the data incorrectly but my license report (4.0.3) via the Web admin interface shows that the peak for the time frame entered is 277. I have a Max available of 250. I also show NO license denials. Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks in advance.

The floating license report has the x-axis as the date. If you had multiple licenses checked back into the floating license pool, you could essentially have more than 250 users checking out licenses.

Thanks Stephanie for the response. Please clarity further. I may have misunderstood.

Say I have 250 users holding a license for some period of time. Then 20 users free (Check back in) licenses. Then, 15 users request licenses. What is my total usage (potentially)? Could it be 265?

DT
