Can I Import a Folder Structure in RRC 4.x?

Hello,

Can I import a folder structure in RRC 4.x?  I don't want to import artifacts just yet, but a folder structure.  I see that there is ReqIF import available.  Can I use that functionality to import a folder structure?

Hi Andrew,

You should be able to create a project of just the folder structure you want and then create a project template from that. Then you can create new projects using that template.

When creating the project template, you have options to include Folder Structure, Artifact, Links, Types, etc...So you can create a template of the original project and just select "Folder Structure" and exclude artifacts and everything else you don't want to come over.  Then any project created from that template will have just the folder structure.
