RMBrowserAddOn 4.0.3.0.0, Graphical Editor Error CRRRW7386E

 Hi 

I am trying  to load RM Plugin to sketch some process diagram,  It throws the error  CRRRW7386E.  
Here is the out put from trace.   Will you able to tell what went wrong

Hi Tom,

In many instances where we see this error, we're not finding the JVM in the first place.  Your trace shows that you can find it, but you cannot then load it.

If you refer to 7386 in the wiki: https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/RRCBrowserAddOns

re-installing the browser add-on plug-in usually works.

I also found tech note: www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21588696 which I thought might be relevant due to 2 instances being mentioned in your trace:

"A browser cannot launch multiple instances or versions of JRE. If a JRE already
is being used, Rational Requirements Composer will not be able to use the
packaged JRE to edit the diagram. One way to start a browser to ensure that no
JRE is being used is to go to Start -> Run and use the following command to
open the browser.
iexplore https://servername:port/rm
firefox https://servername:port/rm "

Please let us know if this does not work and we'll take a deeper look.

 I re-installed so many times
1. removed the plugin form 'Extensions' tab of firefox
2. restarted firefox
3. removed downloaded files from Users/<user>/IBM/RMAddOn-4.0.3.0
4. reinstalled plugin

It did not worked. Also I tried the option " firefox https://servername:port/rm "
I coudn't see any difference with this too.Is there any way we can enable more tracing to find out what exactly went wrong, as technote says "  This solution is for one specific scenario. The error described in the symptom section is generic and can be seen for various other reasons. "

FYI : 
Browser  : FireFox 17.0.ESR
CLM       : 4.0.3
Client     : Windows 7, 32 bit 
** Issue is with only graphical editior, I edit documents
** In  some of the PC's Plugin works, but  in most of the users's machine it is not working

I appreciate you're installing into FF 17, but could you confirm if you're able to install this correctly into IE? 

Forum post https://jazz.net/forum/questions/56289/rrc-301-the-editor-could-not-be-started-firefox had a very similar issue.

The line I am chasing down is:

17:20:44 (P3120-T856): ERR RRCXPluginAppFramework::createVM Unable to load the JVM Runtime Library path, rc=126. Exiting.  

I am going to reinstall a fresh copy of RRC 4.0.3 and see if I can reproduce this in the meantime.

@other RRC experts - feel free to chime in.

There are a few things you can try. Firstly, this may happen if the plugin is running in another tab or browser, and you attempt to install it (note that you do not need to actively be editing an artifact somewhere for the plugin to be active) . Here is why: after the add-on archive file has downloaded, it attempts an extraction into the user directory. Some of the files will be able to be overwritten, but the java plugin files themselves that are in use will not be overwritten. That can cause some version mismatches, and will prevent the plugin from starting properly.

Secondly, make sure you are restarting your browser after the download has finished. Upon restart, you should see a command window appear that details the archive file extraction. Please let us know if you are not seeing this command window. Note that sometimes the browser can get into a strange state where it looks like it is indeed closing, but the browser thread never actually closes, and in that case, restarting your machine may do the trick.

Another issue may be that the existing install directory got corrupted somehow. You can try performing a clean install by removing the add-on from FF and then deleting the C:\Users\<user name>\IBM\RMAddOn-4.0.3.0 directory and attempting the install again.

Additionally, are a few plugins that may actually interfere with the graphical-editor add-on. You may want to try to temporarily disable your other Firefox plugins. This is done from the same panel that you use to remove the RMBrowserAddOn4.0.3.x add-on.
