sort order in query not showing up custom fields

 Hi,

Based on one of the requirement from a team we have added three custom attribute on a Defect work item

custom field on Defect workitem
Based on the newly added attributes running a query fetched us the desired results.

In the result layout section of the query they do not show up under sort order menu

Hi Anoop,
What is RTC version you are using? Sort order of customer attributes was added in RTC 3.0 (https://jazz.net/jazz/web/projects/Rational%20Team%20Concert#action=com.ibm.team.workitem.viewWorkItem&id=65461). Are you using this version?

When you read through all the discussions, you end by several work items. All resolved.

But the resolution of the work items are unsatisfying. See for example:

How can a solution just be, by reverting a change done before? This is "Nice weather programming".

Hi,

We are using Defect component which is available in RQM 2.0.1 iFIX5. Looks like these has been addessd from 3.0 onwards.

Check the type of attribute added?

In RTC 3 have observed that Attributes of type - Large String,Large html  are not available for sort.
