I can add Jazz groups to roles but I need more granular than this - for example I would like to designate some JazzUsers as report authors but not all.

I did the following:
Launched IBM Cognos Administration
went to security -> User,Groups, and Roles
Select Cognos
and went to Authors and selected set properties
then went to members and clicked on Jazz
then did the search and type the user id and set type to user in advanced search as well as this namespace to search in and I never find any user.  It works for groups but not users

I am on Insight 1.1.1.1 and CLM 4.0.2

Hello David,

you need to have a functional user associated with the com.ibm.rational.reporting consumer in the JTS in order for the search to work.

See comment 1 of Defect 71640 Jazz namespace does not support content store consistency check for details.

Best Regards
Francesco

Works great!! Thanks.  For others you just need to edit the com.ibm.rational.reporting inbound consumer key and click the select functional user id and select a user that is a member of the JazzAdmin group.  After doing that everything works.
