Installing Build Forge 7.1.1.40.0139 Issue installing Core Product Modules
I am in the process of installing Build Forge 7.1.1.40.0139, and it is not installing or allowing me to go past the installation of the Core Product Modules. What am I doing wrong? I installed IIM version 1.6.2 64 Bit, I am running on Windows 7 64 Bit.

Hi Tony, you can download the 32 bit version of IM here:

Josh: Thank you for the link. I was not able to access it but I was able to sign in and download a 32 bit version. Now I have to obtain licenses, and download a database. 1

Hi Tony, with your RTC license you are entitled to a free DB2 license ( it has some limitations such as can only use 4 gb of ram for example). You can download that from the optional downloads page:
You will need a license for Buildforge though which is not included for free

Josh; Thanks again for the prompt answer. In my case I will need to get a buildforge license. |

BF is only distributed as a 32b package. From the above, it seems you will still need the 32b version of IM

Build Forge 7.1.1.4 was only released as a 32 bit binary, and IM doesn't install non-64 bit packages with the 64 bit IM. If you install the 32 bit IM you should be able to install no problem.

Spencer,
Thank you for the response. I am downloading 7135 and hopefully this will work. Thanks again!

Spencer,
I downloaded 7.1.35 and I'm getting held up in the same process as well. On the following screen after I hit next it still hangs up and doesn't go past.

I looked at the Installation Log and it shows that 64 bit IIM is not supported and that a 32 bit should be used. My machine is running 64 bit Windows 7.
