Installing Build Forge agent on Ubuntu 12.04
My understanding is that Build Forge 8 is not supported on Ubuntu 12.
Does anyone know if Build Forge agent can be installed and run on Ubuntu 12? If "yes" what is involved to install it?
I'd greatly appreciate any advice/suggestion.

Unfortunately, Ubuntu Linux is not fully supported under the Build Forge agent.
You will need to build the Build Forge agent from the source files that are provided under the Build Forge agent download. Build Forge agent will receive limited support, which is generally best effort from the support team as these configuration are not tested.
