Is it possible to change order of listing in dashboard widget (eg Work item statistics)

I am working with customer to configure their dashboard widget. My customer would like to see order of listing in dashboard widget to be changed.

 
For example, instead of above listing, customer would like to see Minor, Major, Normal, Blocker from top.

I figured in xml file for project area configuration, each entry is set as (eg id="severity.literal.l6" name="Blocker"/). I have attempted to change the order in xml file, however no changes were made from dashboard widget.

1. Can someone advise in which order listing are made on dashboard widget?
2. Is there a way of changing the order?
