RTC 4: Detailed list of things which cannot be done with web UI but can be with Eclipse or VS client?
Hello,
Is there a details list of things that can not be done on RTC Web UI but then can be done with RTC eclipse or RTC for VS client? One major thing I know for sure if that you can not check-in/deliver source codes with web UI. Any other major things from User or Administrator point of view? Thanks and regards Frank |

This page gives you a high level overview of all of the clients: https://jazz.net/products/rational-team-concert/features/clients/ One big feature the web client has is dashboards. In order to view them in the Eclipse client, you can right-click on the project area and select Open Web Client for Project, which basically uses the Eclipse browser to open the web client. Also, you can open plans in the Eclipse client, but they are better viewed in the web client. Work items and reports are basically the same in the Eclipse and web client. You can browse builds in both clients, but not all build related activity can be completed in the web client.
