Team concert Shell for simple versioning similar to the web UI

For users just working on office documents it would be nice to have a very simple working model, similar to that in the web UI, where it is possible to work directly on a stream. Those kind of users are not interested and maybe overloaded with our workspace and pending changes concept.

For simple versioning of office documents, checkin, lock/unlock and maybe load/unload a directory should be enough.

Might this be a possible enhancement for the Team Concert shell ?
