RTC Shell Client Reload

This is out of sync folder issue in the Shell client is really hard for a lot of our users doing version control. Right clicking on the component and reloading the component does not solve the out of sync problem. It seems like you need to unload the component which unloads the folders on the file system and reload but than you are losing local work.

Hi Sean,
I see out of sync in Eclipse typically when changing a file outside of the tool. What usually helps is refreshing the package explorer or navigator. I am not sure why the Shell would be unable to detect file changes though. I would suggest trying to Refresh your sandbox. I would also try to find if there is a pattern to narrow down what causes these issues. You might want to consider to open a workitem too. |
