Are Report Views supposed to migrate when upgrading RRDI versions or RRDI to Insight?

I did a test migration from RRDI to Insight and the Reports migrated over fine but I don't seem to see the Report Views they had created in Cognos in RRDI.  Is this expected or should the views migrate as well?

Same question for RRDI version migrations?

Hi Michael,

We need more information.

1. Which version of RRDI are you upgrading from and to? RRDI 1.0.2.1 to 2.0.1?

2. During the upgrade, did you reuse the old content store or create a new one?

3. If you reuse the old content store, before the upgrade, did you export your custom reports and report views from your content store to a report archive; and re-import them into the updated content store?

4. Which folder did you create the custom reports and report views in?

5. Were your missing custom report views pointing to your own custom reports or the Insight OOTB reports?

Regards,

Kelvin

Kelvin,

Thanks for the reply.  It ended up migrating the report views over successfully when I did the migration on the Production system. I think in this instance I was going from RRDI 1.0.2 to Insight 1.1.
