Insight authentication with JTS

Hi Team,

I'm trying to configure IBM Rational Insight to authenticate with the JTS authentication.

I setup my jazzns_config.xml. Restart the Windows service for Rational Insight.

I obtain the connection page (from my JTS server) but when I enter my credentials to log in I get the following message:

User/host not on INCLUDE list for feature.
Feature: insight_user
License path: @XXXXXXXX;
FLEXnet Licensing error:-39,147
For further information, refer to the FLEXnet Licensing documentation,
available at "www.flexerasoftware.com".

Hi Fabien,

After updating the ibmratl.opt file on the machine running your Rational License Server, did you restart the License Server?

Also what is the user opladm ?  Is it coming from LDAP or Jazz ?  The error message also seems to indicate that your log on user name is 101039706.  Perhaps this needs to be in the ibmratl.opt file?

You right Ali the license server was needed to be restarted !

Is the user id you logged in with defined in the ibmratl.opt file on your license server?  This link may help:

Hello,

Thanks for your answer. I do not have any ibmratl.opt file. I'm just working and testing Insight with a trial license.

So what should I do to workaround this please and be able to test my JTS authentication ?

Sorry finally I found the file !

the content of this file is:

GROUP AuthUsers opladm
INCLUDE insight_user GROUP AuthUsers


So what do I need to add in it to let Jazz users be able to authenticate to Insight?

So I have added the users (email intranet Id as I try now to authenticate to the bluepages ldap) to my opt file and restarted the Cognos windows service

My file has now the following content:
GROUP AuthUsers opladm faraktingi@fr.ibm.com
INCLUDE insight_user GROUP AuthUsers

 but I still get the following message after enter my credentials:
CRREL0033E: You cannot log on to the report server. You have not been authorized to access this web application.
Contact your report server administrator and request access to this web application. Your log on user name is '101039706'. Provide this information to your report server administrator.

User/host not on INCLUDE list for feature.
Feature: insight_user
License path: @XXXXXXXXX;
FLEXnet Licensing error:-39,147
For further information, refer to the FLEXnet Licensing documentation,

Should I need to restart something else please ?

You right Alin the license server was needed to be restarted !
