Builds and Components

If I create a Build Definition that uses Jazz Source Control, it appears
that the JBE wants to fetch all the components from the specified
workspace.

I was hoping to be able to specify which components were needed in each
Build Definition.

Have I missed something ?

Cheers

You can control this indirectly by customizing the flows in the workspace
editor. Open the workspace editor, select a flow target, and Edit it to
"Flow only components checked below"

There is a load rules setting in the build definition on the Jazz Source
Control page, but I don't know if it allows you to completely omit
components.

Just tried a "Personal Build" that pulls the source from my Workspace.
Here there's no stream involved so I have no way to limit the components
to be fetched during the build.

I wish that the Build Definition offered a means to select the
components to be fetched.

Should I raise an enhancement ?

I've opened Enhancement 62141 for this.
