RTC build related questions

In RTC build definition, Jazz source contol - Load Directory is set to C:/RTC_Files. And the build script and build related files will get loaded to C:/RTC_Files as a part of RTC build. The build script then creates a new folder called C:/InProgress, copies the files from RTC_Files and performs the next steps like compilation etc. So the generated files need to be promoted back to RTC. How can I do that. As the modified files are in C:/InProgress and RTC repository workspace maps to C:/RTC_Files, am not sure how to get this done. If I copy the files back from C:/InProgress  to C:/RTC_files, then deliver would it work.
