In 3.0.x, multivalued attribute such as Contributor list is NOT supported in query's result layout.
This is covered in the below RFE and the feature is now in v4.x:

Which UI are you using, Browser, Web? Which version are you using? CLM, Browser, etc. It would help if you would provide this. If questions don't provide minimal information and context it is likely that readers won't bother to answer them.

Derived from my RTC knowledge (you either use the WI component in RQM or the WI component in CCM/RTC).

In general you should see the custom attributes in the work item editor and able to pick them for a condition. You should also be able to select them for display. In the Eclipse client query editor there is a special check box you need to tick to see the custom attributes. If you don't you either have a very exotic custom work item type or there is an issue with your project template or deployment.

Apologies for not being eloberative. WE are using RQM 3.0.1.3. WE have added a custom Task filed which is of tyoe "contributor list". When we try to create a new query (Work Items> Query) The first Tab of Conditions> Add conditions list the Custom filed. However the third tab of Result Layout doesnt allow us to add the filed to the Result column. When I click the add button, it doesnt list my custom field.

This is done using Web UI. I tried to check for any special checkbox from RTC client, coludnt find it

Any help?

Are you still having problems with this?  I was able to add my custom fields to the query "Column Display" using RTC v4.0.1 and the eclipse client.  My custom fields were listed in the "Available columns" list on the query editor "Column display" tab.

As far as I know, there's no pproblem with Eclipse UI. The problem is in web UI.
