Is reindex needed when changing database in RTC?

Can anyone verify whether reindex is needed when changing database?

If you talk about DB indices, it should be moved using Oracle means therefore I suggest there is no need to reindex. As for text indices - it's stored on application server and may be re-used. Only required step is to suspend indexing services as for "cold" backup:
