How can you create a set of tasks in one go?

Mark Butcher (111) | asked Sep 10 '08, 3:44 p.m.
As an example, when planning an iteration, I want to create a set of tasks by which to coordinate that planning, to ensure we don't forget any of the things we need to do.

It must be possible as when you go through the tutorial and setup the project, it creates the set of tasks that you have to go through complete the setup.

I would therefore like a tailorable (I'm assuming that over time we'll learn which tasks we need and which we don't, so I need to be able to refine it) means by which I can have the sets of tasks I want, created at the touch of a button.

Thx, Mark

Hi Mark,

A similar request was discussed in this thread:
https://jazz.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2073

The work items that are created in the tutorial come from a follow up action that is specified in the Project Area Initialization data for a project area. There is not a similar way to specify something happen when an iteration is created.

You may want to file a work item requesting this functionality.

Thanks,
Martha
