Should a Cross Repository "accept" of a component on an RTC 4.0 server from an RTC 3.0.1.2 server work?

Dave Marsico (4511014) | asked Aug 01 '12, 4:38 p.m.
Trying to perform a cross-repository deliver (accept a component) from an RTC 4.0 server on an RTC 3.0.1.2 server... but when trying to "accept" the component encounter this:
The requested service version 2 does not match the expected  version 4 for server https://rtp-scmrtc-ccm1.cisco.com:9443/ccm1/scmreplicationservice/com.ibm.team.scm.common.internal.IScmReplicationService

Wondering if others have hit this, or if anyone can confirm its not possible to go from 4.0 to 3.0.1.2.

I'm also getting this error. Anyone get this to work?

@christik I'm converting your "answer" to a comment, so it doesn't appear as if the question has been answered.

It is not supported.  Cross repository operations are like a form of data migration as replication is like an import into the new server.  We have not yet come up with a way to handle schema changes inline with replication.
