The core of this plan is the new link type "tracks/contributes to". This link type allows to link WI over Jazz Repositories and not only within one CCM instance.
The current implementation only gives a rolled up schedule by using the planned snapshots in the other plan containing the workitem that is being tracked. See also my forum question: https://jazz.net/forum/questions/78566/what-is-the-difference-between-resolvesresolved-by-and-trackscontributes-to-link-type-in-rtc-40 And my Defect (see also the attachment) https://jazz.net/jazz/web/projects/Rational%20Team%20Concert#action=com.ibm.team.workitem.viewWorkItem&id=216482 I'm do not use this snapshot and GANTT chart functionality and I'm working within one repository, thats why I prefer the "Resolves/Resloved By" link type. It has more fuctionality yet for my use cases. Ralph Schoon selected this answer as the correct answer

One thing I noticed is that I can know what is going on across projects.
