Ask a question

Is WAS need on a distributed CLM server to talk to a separate RRDI server?

A customer has the following:

CLMv4.0 and Tomcat on Server1
DB2 on Server2

The customer now wants RRDI on Server2 with DB2. RRDI requires WAS on Server2, which is fine, but do I need to upgrade from Tomcat->WAS on Server1 for this to work?

Hi Sterling

I believe the answer is No - you don't need to touch the CLM bit and upgrade Tomcat to WAS  RRDI needs WAS/DB2 to work, but that should not affect CLM.

RRDI and CLM are two different servers. They can and recommended to run separately.
