RTC - Formal Project Mgmt process

Hello,

Where is Enhancement in the Formal Project Management template?

From my experience working with a mid-size company, having associates in large to small startups, I have seen Defect and Enhancement. My current customer base, interested in RTC and the Formal template, want to see Defect and Enhancement, with almost similar work flows.

Is Project Change Request supposed to take the place of Enhancement? In my experience, a Change Request was different than an Enhancement. (With some companies, a CR was either a defect or Enhancement). Plus the workflow of this PCR is very long.

What is the term and workflow based of of? When I do a web search, I am not seeing CR, unless it is associated with either being defined as a defect or enhancement, or it is defined as being a much a much larger project change, but not necessarily an enhancement.

thanks..

Thanks,

However the documentation backs some of my associates claims that Change Requests are higher level than Enhancements. I'll just submit a WI.

thanks.
