How can you verify all test case points have been projected

Patti Veith (122) | asked May 22 '12, 11:15 a.m.
My team just started our first RQM pilot.

The project leader is looking for a way where she can verify that all the test case weight points have been projected in one or more TERs. She was able to run a report in TTT that gave her this information but I cannot find a report that does this in RQM.

Thanks!

Could you please attach an example of the report you would like and I can analyze if we have an OOTB report to meet your requirement? Can the OOTB report "TER Listing" satisfy you?

If no any OOTB report can't show your information, you could install RRDI (Rational Reporting Developement Intelligence) and customize the reports what you want. We also provide many OOTB reports in there, and you could start based on them.

Please refer to the help of CLM 3.x:

Thank you for your response.

The TER Listing report does not give us the information that we needed.

The following is the TTT report the project leader used to use:

This report shows by tester what test scenarios (test cases) have not had all their attempt points projected.  Normally, the Total Actual Success Points column should also be '0' but I cannot find an example of that at this point since do not have a TTT test plan in the planning stage.  For our acceptance test on a prior test plan, we did not do projections, just success points.

If you can find any OOTB reports that are similar, that would be great.  We haven't found one yet.

I will also look into RRDI (Rational Reporting Developement Intelligence) as well as Insight.

Thank you.

Sorry, I don't know what is your meaning about points projected. What about OOTB "Tester Report using Weight"? I think it is better that you could give a mockup snapshot or an example as excel, then I can see any OOTB report to satisfy you.

Yes, we provide customization ability in RRDI, you could have a look at it.
