The Jazz Build Engine is the Jazz build engine, Rational Build Agent is the Build Forge build agent, and Rational Build Forge is the Build Forge engine. Rational Build Forge will require Build Forge, but the Rational Build Agent and Jazz Build Engine are included in the toolkit.

The two agents are good for calling out single commands, like firing a build script. Build Forge is a full build tool that has lots of additional features.

Thanks for your reply Spencer.
I used Build Forge, and I want to know how to decide use what engine? Jazz build engine or Build Forge engine?

For simple calling of scripts you can use JBE, for anything more complex, use Build Forge. If you already have Build Forge deployed and running, just keep going with that.
