CLM upgrade from 3.0.1.1 to 3.0.1.2

We are in the process of upgrading from 3.0.1.1 to 3.0.1.2 and have already completely the upgrade in development. Below are my questions and concerns...

1. We have to install 3.01.2 in a new package directory. After the upgrade, in the view installed packages, it shows 3.0.1.1 and 3.0.1.2 as installed on the server. Can I uninstall the older version 3.0.1.1?
2. We had tomcat running as a service on windows. After upgrade, we have to unistall the service and set it up from the new directory. Also we need to update the CATALINA HOME environment variable to point to the new directory.

I wish that the above two items be included in the upgrade instructions.

Thanks for your help.

Hi,

if you install side by side you can uninstall after undeploying.
However, if you uninstall, Tomcat will be gone. I am not sure how Tomcat service works, You might have to reinstall the service with the new Tomcat.

I f you have suggestions, please consider to write a work item.

We have recently upgraded our CLM3.0.1 to CLM3.0.1.3. The CLM was working fine prior to the upgrade.

The "/jts" application diagnostic page is now showing:

Application: the consumer key "92da6d57df844c08a2a2bf5c82bef2ae" for "/admin" was allocated by this server, when it should have been allocated by the application.

The "/admin" application page is now showing:

Error
The Lifecycle Project Administration application has not been initialized. Please register the application with a Jazz Team Server.

How do I reassign the consumer key from "/jts" back to "/admin" ?

KC,

I had the same issue the first time I logged in. I guess there is a data refresh lag. I restarted the server, stop/started the service and it worked fine. If there are more occurrences, we should probably submit a PMR. Please let me know it this worked.

Thanks,
Suresh Raman
