E-mail Reader for RTC ? (like in CQ)

Christophe Lucas (86234948) | asked Feb 01 '12, 9:45 a.m.
Is anyone aware of an existing tool (or RTC work item) that would convert the information in formatted e-mail messages to the form required for submission to a RTC database and submit the information ?
If not, would developing such a functionality using e.g. OSLC be 'thinkable' ?

Something like the ClearQuest E-Mail Reader

Thanks

FORUM ADMINISTRATOR / FORUM MODERATOR / JAZZ DEVELOPER
There are some vendors that provide this functionality, e.g.:

http://www.cm-logic.com/jazzconnect-email.html
http://www.finecosoft.com/rtcemailreader
(I personally haven't tried these).

And you could of course build your own.

Cheers,
Geoff

I would avoid using http://www.finecosoft.com/rtcemailreader as this solution was implemented by our request for our customer. So the solution is property of the customer as per contract.
