How to import Test Data from Excel to RQM 2.0.1 ifix 5

i need to use multiple test data values for an insurance application, roughly around 300 different test data. is there a way or facility on RQM to do an import much like a test case or test script? i really dont want to manually create all 300 test data 1 by 1

Yes, you can use the RQM Excel/Word Importer (https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/RQMExcelWordImporter).

Hello, thanks for the reply.. i have looked into that link and it does not seem to have anything for Test Data. It looks like its not part of the supported types it can import. the list only shows the major work items like requirements, test plan, test cases, test scripts, etc. but cant find test data.. if there is, could you give a sample on how it looks like on the configuration file? eg: testscript.steps or requirement.dc.name, etc...

thanks again..

Apologies, test data (or datapools) are not yet supported (see https://jazz.net/jazz02/resource/itemName/com.ibm.team.workitem.WorkItem/21820 and https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/RQMExcelWordImporter#Supported_Resources).

Samples are provided (see https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/RQMExcelWordImporter#Document_Configuration).

does the RQM excel importer work with Office 2010? Can't seem to get the add-in tab to appear. Thanks in advance

Yes. See https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/RQMExcelWordImporter >> RQM menu does not appear in Excel or Word after installation?. Otherwise, please open a RQM defect (https://jazz.net/jazz02/web/projects/Rational%20Quality%20Manager#action=com.ibm.team.workitem.newWorkItem).
