Dashboard "Select Catalog" missing

I am running RTC V3.0.0 iFix 1 When I try and add a new widget on a personal dashboard, the widget catalog is not displayed. The "Select Catalog" is missing and the "Selected" field is missing from the normal page where you add the widgets. I have checked the consumer keys as suggested in other posts and they seem fine. The same problem occurs on both IE and FF browsers. Also, a number of people using the server are getting the same problem. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what is going wrong ? Hi Rob,
My suspicion is that your root services document for the JTS may not be setup properly. A common mistake is that the Widget Catalog Service is specified using the wrong XML namespace. It used to be "jdb" but now it is "ju"
A couple of follow-up questions: (1) Are there any visible error messages displayed in the Widget Catalog UI? Or does it just appear with empty contents? (2) On Firefox, can you install Firebug, open the "Console" tab and report any error messages / failed requests you see when you open the Widget Catalog? (3) Does the Widget Catalog populate correctly on project area & team area dashboards on the CCM / QM / RM fronting applications? (4) Does the Widget Catalog populate correctly when opened from the Mini Dashboard? Thanks, Mike |
Hi Rob, We are getting the same problem. I have checked the root services document and the Widget catalog line starts with 'ju'. But I don't see the Select Catalog section altogether and the Select Category is empty. Really appreciate some help here. Thanks! David |
