Setting the database to read-only
Hi
A customer is doing some disaster recovery (DR testing), and wants to try locking the database (Oracle) on the DR system. This is so that they can run the tests without having to do a full restore to the production system. A read-only DB can't be altered (obviously).
The question is then "Does RTC need read/write access to the database when it starts and shits down?". I know the log file will be written to, but not sure about the database itself. What about the Lucene index?
Anyone know?
thanks
