Version control of test scripts
I'd like to know how RQM handles version control of test scripts, both manual and automated (specifically, RFT and RPT).
I believe RFT allows for tests to be checked in/out of CC, not sure if there's a Jazzy story for this now. |

You can use RTC (http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/clmhelp/v3r0m1/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.team.scm.doc/topics/c_getting_started.html) or CC (http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/clmhelp/v3r0m1/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.team.connector.scm.cc.doc/topics/c_getting_started.html) for SCM in CLM 3.0.1.

OK, I'll bite (:-).
How does adding OSLC support to Bugzilla relate to version-control of RFT and RPT test scripts for RQM? Cheers, Geoff On 7/18/2011 8:38 AM, paules wrote: jhouldswrote: |
Manual scripts that you create within the RQM UI support a simple versioning concept called "snapshots".
Reference: http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/clmhelp/v3r0m1/topic/com.ibm.rational.test.qm.doc/topics/t_versioning_parent.html As mentioned, RFT does implement the "Team" interface in Eclipse which affords it versioning capability in the tool itself, at least with ClearCase. I'm not sure if TeamConcert/CCM is yet supported. |
