Unable to access RQM from within RTC

We have been receiving the following error: HTTP Status 403 - Access to the specified resource () has been forbidden when attempting to access RQM from within RTC.

Note: We receive this error in both the Web Client as well as the thick client.

Here are the steps taken prior to receiving the error:
1. Accessed the current project we are working on -->
accessed the work item where the links are.
2. Clicked on the links tab --> then clicked on Tested By
Test Cases (specifically 2 we would click on)
3. We are then prompted to login to RQM
4. After click on login we receive the HTTP Status 403 error

Current workaround is to access RQM directly and looking up the test cases as we attempted to do from RQM.

Has anybody run into this issue before. Let me know if additional information is needed. Thank you.

Hi

Check your user has a license of some kind for RQM.

Also - what versions of the products are you using?

anthony

p.s This is all a lot simpler in 3.0.1 (released tomorrow)

Anthony,

Thank you for the response, I appreciate it. The user does have the proper license assigned and I have acutally been able to recreate the issue and I have the Rational Quality Manager - Floating Quality Manager License.

I know about the 3.0.1 released today and agree it will be much easier. We provided the user with a work-around for right now but wanted to see if there was anything else that can be done. Thank you again for the info.

- Chris
