Is there a way to show the planned start and end date from a formal project plan in the results of a work item query or from a dashboard?

This is exactly what we need, but it does not appear to be possible with the built in tools of RTC. It may be possible to create a custom app that pulls the data from the REST APIs (Work Items and APT/Plan), but it does not come with RTC, unfortunately. There may be a way to create a report that could be added to a developer's dashboard showing their work items and using the Planned Start/End Date data from the Plan, but I have not yet found an example of how to do this.

I would really appreciate someone from Rational creating a whitepaper or other type of complete example on how to solve this problem.
