RAM Setup Error-Part4 Configure Lifecycle management setting

Product details are as follows

RAM 7.5.0.1
DB2 9.7
AIX
WAS 7.0.0.11

I am doing RAM setup and getting following error during Part - 4: Configure Lifecycle management settings.

The login was successful, but the user xxxxxxx@us.ibm.com is not a member of JazzAdmins role and is not authorized to perform any actions. You may need to complete the Users and Authentication step, if you have done so already check jazz.log for details.

xxxxxx@us.ibm.com is a valid JazzAdmins account.

I did the Users and Authentication step many times to make sure and did not get any error message.

I am able to logon to the RTC server using this account using xxxxxx@us.ibm.com but getting following error on the first page -

Error fetching server status information.

When I view the details of the error message I see this -

Can some one let me know how do I resolve this.

Thanks,

1. Can you try the URL for jazz in a browser and see if the server status is error free.
2. If not, can you open jazz.log (as mentioned in the error message) its in the server profile/logs folder.
3. Can you report the error seen in the log.

Hello
I installed RTC 3.0.1 and RAM 7.5.0.2
RTC is configured correctly. I would like to use this server for RAM lifecycle project.

I have the same error message.

There is no jazz.log file in the profile hierarchy (I use the embedded WAS server)

Hum... RTC 3.x is not supported. This is said in an error message when you use the ../ccm URL (I used ../jts previously).
This constraint on the RTC version should be clearly explained at the very first steps of the RAM server setup. Or it should ask for the RTC URL very early and check the version..
And I did not see that in the sotfware requirements in the installation doc ..
I has to run the setup again .. and it works now.

Rational Asset Manager 7.5 requires a Rational Team Concert v2.0 server to manage the lifecycles of assets. Consider this analogous to requiring a certain version of a database as a back-end for Rational Asset Manager.

Note that Rational Asset Manager does support integrations with RTC 2 as well as 3. This is different from managing lifecycles of assets (which is an internal component of our product). We are making that clear in the installation instructions in the future.
