Upgrading from RTC 2.0 to 3.0 - Red Hat support problem

I'm upgrading RTCz from 2.0.0.2iFix1 (running on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.3) to RTC 3.0. But I'm facing a problem, RTC 3.0 doesn't support RHEL 5.3 (it only supports 5.4 and 5.5). And RTC 2.x doesn't support RHEL 5.4.

What is the suggested upgrading scenario to avoid any problem???
