PDF to large issue
The customer gets the following message?
he requested document is considered large enough to have a negative impact on RQM server performance. As a result, the document has been truncated and is not complete. Your RQM administrator can possibly allow more of the document to be generated but should fully read and understand the risks of doing so which are detailed in the following Tech Note. No tech note though, how do i resolve this please |

I had that problem yesterday but seemed to eliminate it by doing the following change:
Go into Jazz Server Administration. Select the Advanced Properties at the bottom. Then go to the XSLFO Component (com.ibm.rqm.xslfo.server.FOPService) and change "Most resources per print request" to a larger number than 250. I selected 2500. The message I was getting went away. I do not know if there are any other impacts (other than load put on the server). Maybe some one else can answer that. The customer gets the following message? |
Sorry for the confusion, the link was missing from the PDF. It was added in the next iFix.
Here is the link: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21405315 Be very cautious when changing this setting. We highly recommend that you test any changes on a backup system with a copy of your repository before you deploy any changes to production. Raising this number too high without ensuring that your server can handle the load can cause serious problems. |
Sorry for the confusion, the link was missing from the PDF. It was added in the next iFix. Hi, Many thanks but this does not help with size to big, this is regards the font used? This will resolve characters not printing etc. Ta Mark |
