How can I create a query of my backlog in ranked order

Hello:

I have a ranked product backlog. I want to save a copy at the beginning of my sprint in order to compare it to the same at the end of my sprint.

If I create a simple query, it does not list the items in the same ranked order as the backlog.

Am I forced to learn how to create a report instead?

I forgot to mention. I'm using RTC version: 2.0.0.2iFix4

Please let us know if there is a better way of exporting the ranked work item list to excel in new 3.0 Version; apart from using the Priority attribute that can be use as a workarond in 2.0.0.2 version?
