Can I use RTC while stopping indexing? (Online backup )

Hi, I have a question about online backup.

According to this article,
we need to suspend/resume indexing process when taking online backup.

My question is:

Is it possible for user to use RTC while indexing process are stopped?
Are all operations (such as creating workitems...) safe?

Hi,

while indexing is suspended you can safely RTC as far as I know. The indexes will get updated after enabling indexing again.
