One of my plans in't working...

Scott Chapman (3216547) | asked Nov 07 '10, 7:24 a.m.
I have been working on a new RTC Project Area.

So, I created a few team areas, and timelines and iterations.

And I created a plan for some of the iterations for folks to see what was there.

But one of my plans doesn't load. I get the error "There are no categories associated with the team area."

All my categories are currently associated with the Project Area. I can't tell my my other plans work great, but this one doesn't. Only think I can think of is that the iteration I am trying to show the plan for is not the current iteration; actually it has no start/end date associated with it (it is the backlog for that timeline)

Any ideas?

I haven't seen this situation myself, but whether or not it is the
current iteration, or whether or not it has start/end dates is very
unlikely to be relevant here.

The first thing to do is the address the issue identified by the error
message, to make sure that isn't somehow the cause. Go to the project
area editor, and select the Categories page. Then assign some category
to that team area, and save. Now try to load the plan again, and see
what happens.

Cheers,
Geoff
