We've created a new Workbench for CLM forum for questions that relate specifically to using Rational Team Concert, Rational Quality Manager, and Rational DOOR Requirements Professional together in the Rational Workbench for Collaborative Lifecycle Management.

We are currently using 2.0.1 iFix 3 with out of the box (canned) reports - no added on customized reports.
Our department wants to have reports with -- Test cases by Component -- 1. The number of test cases Estimated to be developed, 2. The number of test cases Projected to be developed and 3. The Actual number of test cases developed. Test cases by perosn -- 1. The number of test cases Estimated to be developed, 2. The number of test cases Projected to be developed and 3. The Actual number of test cases developed. Requirements coverage -- 1. Requirements covered by Test case 2. Test cases without requirements and 3. Requirements with out test cases. Is this possible with the out of box reports? I have tried to edit the canned reports over and over again and cannot capture what is needed. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks in adcance.. |

About the requirements coverage, did you try the ootb Birt requirements coverage reports? If yes, what were the problems you saw with them? Plan Requirements Coverage Detail Requirements Traceability Plan Requirements Not Covered Detail Plan Requirements Coverage by Test Case Plan Requirements Execution using Weight Plan Test Cases Not Covering Requirements Plan Requirements Execution using TER Count Plan Requirements Defect Impact Plan requirements impacted by defects The test case estimation case is a bit more complicated as I assume you estimate your test cases via the linked work item. We do not have ootb reports for that and I just checked in 2.x we did not actually expose the estimates in the data warehouse nor the live reporting using Common Reporting. However, you can access the Due Date as well as the States of the linked items (e.g. in Common Reporting Live Reports). In RQM 3.0.1 we provide full access to such work item fields using RRDI (Rational Reporting for Development Intelligence), so you can create such reports yourself with RRDI.
