Error when trying to edit plan modes
Hi,
We are using RTC 2.0.0.2.
I edited the "Team Folders" plan mode and made modifications to the layout. However, the layout changes are not visible to the rest of the team. Is the plan mode editing only specific to a user?
Also, after I edited and saved the plan mode, no other user could edit it, as they got the error "Failed to save plan mode ...." Reason: An error occurred while executing the operation. See the error log for details. Details: The plan mode has been modifed by someone else.
To overcome this issue, in Process Configuration, under Planning > Plan modes, I "promoted" the plan modes that I edited, assuming that this would make it visible to all. However, after that, other team members were not able to view the Sprint plan as they got the error:
at com.ibm.team.repository.common.TeamRepositoryException: Reference problem: Unable to find IAttribute DefinitionDescriptor with id.com.ibm.team.apt.attribute.planitem.effort.
I would like some help on how to edit plan modes such that the entire team can use the modified plan mode view, without getting the above errors.
Thanks and regards,
Abigail
