We want your downloads to be fast and successful every time. But, given our large files and other factors, you may still experience some hiccups.

We've put together a Download Tips page to help you troubleshoot and improve your downloads from jazz.net.

>> Download Tips <<

The most helpful tip on that page is probably the DownThemAll download manager.

DownThemAll works perfectly, I don't know if this is available for Mac, but I guess there are download managers for Mac as well.

I only have access to IE 7 and our company policy does not allow download managers. I find downloading from Jazz.net slow and very hit & miss. However, downloads from the main Rational site much faster and, more importantly, reliable without the need for specila add-ons.

Why are the Jazz products not available from the main Rational site? In my view a poor download site does not give a potential user a good impression of the tools. I look forward to an improvement.

I agree with Steve. Though a download manager may be a solution for the symptom it would be better to fix the problem itself. I try to download the new RTC 3.0 RC0 zip file which is 1.2 gigs. This is not possible without a download manager, as the download is dropped every time after one or two hundred megabytes.

There are download managers for Mac. Just search for them. You can use Folx.

I have been experiencing problems with IDM and found that when I disable it and just use the normal download facilities of Firefox that it works great.
