RTC work item editor in Visual Studio client?

I have recently installed the VS client to play with it (currently on VS 2005, hoping for 2010 RTC client in May?)

After playing with it for a little while, I find that I really miss the "integrated" work item editor from the Eclipse client -- looks like VS client just launches a web page with that particular work item. It feels very clunky.

Is there any ongoing work to build the "thick client" work item editor for RTC Visual Studio client like the Eclipse client?

Thanks in advance,
Mike Johnson

I also wish to see a "thick" work item editor in VS client.

What's more, I really cherish the "current working on work item" feature in Eclipse client. It would be great if a VS client user can drag-drop some work item to right-bottom ,setting it as current work item.

We're working on a native work item editor as I write this. M5 has the first version of native editor for work items, streams and workspaces. They're not complete yet, but will give you a taste of what's to come.

Being VS developers ourselves, we missed native work item editors as well, so that was high on our priority list for 3.0.

It's good to get feedback and suggestions like this one - helps us prioritize our work, so please keep them coming!
