RTC Web UI client doesn't work very well with attachment

RTC Web UI client doesn't work very well with attachment, when try to add attachment to work item (defect/task..) and plan. Below Error message was shown. Is it a known issue?

File upload failed:
The server or file upload service is not responding,
and invalid fully qualified file name was provided,
the session timed out,
or another error occurred.

Eclipse client works well with attachment.

I am also seeing this. How can we troubleshoot this ? I just attempted and in the tomcat access logs I find:

9.48.38.83 - xxxxxxx@us.ibm.com "GET /jazz/service/com.ibm.team.workitem.common.internal.model.IImageContentService/processattachment/_AEU6sOaIEdyPnMbFLxrS7Q/workitemtype/ccapar_104_2.bmp HTTP/1.1" 200 822
9.48.38.83 - xxxxxxxx@us.ibm.com "POST /jazz/service/com.ibm.team.workitem.service.internal.rest.IAttachmentRestService/?projectId=_AEU6sOaIEdyPnMbFLxrS7Q&target=_ERAgEJPrEd2I_vBUsND2Jw&category=_iAY7oBfMEd26iN3LbFUJBA HTTP/1.1" 200 127

Nothing is logged to the jazz.log or catalina.out that corresponds to the above.

I opened Defect 101798.

Same problem for us (using RTC 2.0.0.2-iFix6).

I opened Defect 101798.

Looking at the Defect 101798:

  • Yes, on Process Configuration the "Work Items -> Save Attachment (server)" is flagged as a permitted action.
  • Yes, the https://hostname:9443/jazz/service/com.ibm.team.workitem.service.internal.rest.IAttachmentRestService returns the truncated message "Usage /com.ibm.team.workitem.common.internal.rest.IAttachmentRestService/repo/csid/Attachment/_s".
  • Yes, the property "Content Temporary Directory" of com.ibm.team.repository.service.internal.ContentService is properly setted.
